PROPYLENE GLYCOL

propane-1,2-diol, MPG, antifreeze
Mono propylene glycol is primarily used as a coolant
in cold storage, solar thermal cells and photovoltaic cells.
Unlike ethylene glycol, monopropylene glycol is a non-toxic
antifreeze liquid, and then there is a greater degree of safety in
case of leaks or spills that can get into contact with food.
Propylene glycol food finds application in industry of foods and
gelatinous products used in dentistry and to lower the
freezing point of a mass already glycoled. Another application of
propylene glycol is in paper production.
